We are a local church for the people of Kansas City. At C3 Kansas City, we believe church is about us discovering and learning how to have a loving, authentic relationship with God and with one another. We believe Jesus Christ is God and proved His amazing love for this city by dying on the cross to take the punishment for our sin and pride. We believe He conquered death and rose again to give us an everlasting hope and that by putting our trust in Christ, our lives will never be the same.

C3 Kansas City exists to see the people of this city flourish. We believe the church is both big and small, having a vision to reach many people with the love of Christ, preaching the Gospel in larger worship gatherings and staying small through Dinner Parties and personal relationships. Our church currently meets on Wednesday evenings for Dinner Party + Bible Study to share dinner, study scripture together and pray. We also meet each Sunday for Sunday Stories. Join us for brunch and testimonies of God's faithfulness in our lives. Let's love God and love the people of our city together. You are invited.

C3 Kansas City is part of a larger movement of churches worldwide who are committed to healthy relationships and connection between ministers and churches. As an international family, our members are able to walk into any of our C3 Churches around the world and know they are home. We are united with Christ in His vision, and therefore our mission, to save the lost, make disciples and build His church.

Every family has a unique culture, a set of values and a particular language that bind them together so they know they're a family. These are our unique culture points as C3.

All of this, everything we do and speak should come from and point to Jesus.

Our vision is simple:

for JESUS | for PEOPLE | for THE CITY

Our heart is to see Jesus made famous, peoples lives transformed and flourish through the Gospel by the power of the Holy Spirit and our city renewed through the work of His church. So what does this look like?

Colossians 1:15-18 - He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

John 1:3 - through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.

Romans 11:36 - For from him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be glory forever.

For us, that means Jesus is supreme in our lives personally, in this church corporately, and in this city wholly. Him we proclaim. Above every name. Above every cause. Above every thing. Because only by believing in His name do we have hope for the future. There are no other hoops to jump through, rhetoric to recite, books to read, classes to go through. All it takes is believing. And out of that comes an overflow of serving, giving, loving, transformed lives, prayer, behavior change, addictions broken, minds renewed, hard hearts made soft again.

Luke 19:10 - For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

1 Timothy 1:15 - The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners,

"The wandering of a soul causes Jesus deep sorrow; he cannot bear the thought of its perishing. Such is the love and tenderness of his heart that he cannot bear that one of his own should be in jeopardy. He can take no rest as long as a soul for whom he shed his blood still abides under the dominion of Satan and under the power of sin; therefore the Great Shepherd neither night nor day forgets his sheep: he must save his flock, and he is straitened till it be accomplished." - Charles Spurgeon

We want to see the passion that God has put in each person's heart come to fruition as they come in real relationship with the Author of their passion.

Ephesians 3:10 - Through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.

We have a conviction that the Creator God is at work to heal and renew the whole world. To follow Jesus and join Him in His mission is to become agents of renewal in our neighborhoods, industries and our city as a whole.

God didn't design us, create us, and redeem us just so we could withdraw from the world and pray for death to come so we could go to heaven. He could have just skipped the middle bits by making us and leaving us in heaven! But He didn’t. He's put us here to create culture. The culture of heaven on earth. The culture of heaven in Kansas City.

These thing are accomplished through the Word of God, the Power of the Holy Spirit and thoughtful cultural engagement.
